The different pictures above conveys different meaning that describes the poem of Kahlil Gibran entitled "Joy and Sorrow". The footsteps represents as a man along with his journey in life passing nails, experiencing hurt and tears, and thunders and this things represents as the sorrow of the person. But at the end of his journey he attains great joy because he overcomes the troubles, hurt aches and sorrows in life.
